| UTILITY UPDATES |
|
Utility companies are gearing up
for 2010. Highlights for incentive funding
changes and payment turn-around in the new year
are are listed below.
TEP, Unisource,
and APS
Funds allocated for solar
incentive payments should increase
in 2010. Distribution percentages
between commercial and residential projects may
also change.
SSVEC:
Funds available for
solar incentives will continue to be available,
although payment will be delayed
an additional 4-6 weeks.
SRP:
The commercial
solar incentive is suspended until the end of 2009
but will be reissued the first of the year.
TRICO
The Residential Energy Standard and Tariff
Plan (REST) presented to the Arizona Corporation
Commission has been approved. This will
increase the funds available for utility
incentives on solar projects in the upcoming year,
however, payment is still 3-4 months out.
